ITE SoCal Wins Section Activity Award at ITE International

The ITE SoCal Section received the Section/Chapter Activity Award in Austin, Texas at the ITE International and Texas District Annual Meeting and Exhibit. Pictured below, current ITE SoCal President Sowmya Chandrasekhar and Treasurer Ed Alegre accepted the award.

Initiated in 1992, the Section/Chapter Activities Award is designed to encourage and promote active involvement by ITE sections and chapters in activities promoting the purpose and objectives of ITE. It recognizes the overall quality of section activities, be they technical or non‐technical in nature, and may include meetings, committees, reports, seminars and training programs, student participation, career guidance, membership campaigns, and public relations activities.
